|Woman charged with perjury wants judge and prosecutors tossed A New Brunswick woman who changed her testimony during a murder trial wants the prosecutor s office and judge removed ugg outlet uk store from her upcoming perjury case, her attorney said. Stacia Simms, 20, was a witness in the trial of Michael Ramsey, 21, who was convicted in April for killing Terrell Spruill, a 15 year old running back for the Franklin High School football team. Simms was driving when Ramsey opened fire the night of Aug. 10, 2006. Three days after the shooting, in a taped statement to police, Simms said she saw Ramsey with a gun in his waistband earlier that day and heard the gun go off during the shooting. At trial, she retracted those comments, and testified that she had told police what they wanted to hear. Somerset County Assistant Prosecutor Frank Kolodzieski prosecuted Ramsey, and Superior Court Judge Edward Coleman presided over the trial. Simms is charged with two counts of third degree perjury. She returned to Coleman s courtroom in Somerville today, along with public defender Chanel Hudson, for a status conference. Assistant Prosecutor Anthony Parenti Jr. appeared on behalf classic cardy ugg boots of the state.
